Typography |14.11.2017

Typography is the art, technique and study of how letters are written to make them more appealing, readable and appropriate. The arrangement of letters includes carefully selecting point sizes, typefaces, line lengths, leading (line spacing), tracking (spacing between letters). Typography also applies to the style and appearance, typography is not really the art of creating type, but is the art on how to apply and use it. It is about the way a font communicates. Bellow is a helpful infographic from Pinterest which illustrates rules of choosing type. Typography is an important thing to study as the font for the poster, film title and credits are essential, I want them to all match but be appropriate, I need to choose a pair of fonts that show mental illness and being entrapped.
